Today marks the start of Volunteers' Week 2024 🎉

Here at Savient Limited⭕, we understand the importance of corporate social responsibility (CSR). In the last 12 months, we have maintained our silver CSR accreditation and continue to evaluate our International CSR Excellence Award. We have also provided opportunities for our employees to volunteer and support several good causes, which complements our CSR strategy.

Some of the ways we have supported our community over the last 12 months include:

🧡Organising an employee keep active week while raising funds for Move More Cheltenham.
🧡Continuing to work in partnership with Worcestershire Local Enterprise Partnership and local schools in Worcestershire to support outreach projects such as careers events, mock interviews, and STEM workshops.
🧡 Encourage members of the team to be STEM Ambassadors and working with CyberFirst schools in Gloucestershire.
🧡 Continue to work in partnership with Cirencester College and support T-Level students with their digital production and design course.
🧡Hosting a virtual baking event for Macmillan Cancer Support coffee morning.
🧡 Mentoring students from the University of Bristol who are studying either an Engineering or Computer Science degree
🧡Collecting food and volunteering at Christmas at Cheltenham Open Door.
🧡Gardening at Girlguiding Gloucestershire centre.

In addition to these activities, many of our team members also volunteer in their local communities - including litter picking in their local community, being a member of the Got2Sing Choir, regularly cooking for the Street Café Bakers in Worcester, being a School Careers Advisor at schools in Bromsgrove and Worcester, football coaching for an U7s team, supporter of the CSR Supporters group and committee member for the West Midlands PA Forum, and team leader for the Girlguiding Gloucestershire.

We are proud of all our team members for dedicating their time to volunteer. We believe that volunteering is a valuable way to give back to the community and make a difference in the world.
