Unlocking the World of Administration: Careers Beyond the Desk

Kicking off Monday with a GOOD NEWS story to share from the PA Forum School Engagement Programme and proud that Savient Limited were able to support Daniel Skermer and the PA Forum at this event and highlight the business support role 🔽

Our first pilot event took place on Friday at Windsor Academy Trust. Throughout the sessions, students had the opportunity to hear from our members about their careers, roles, and experiences in the business support sector. The students participated in smaller focus group discussions to dive deeper into the insights shared.

Our Q&A session was a highlight of the event, where students put their questions to us covering everything from career progression, necessary skills, qualifications, and what success looks like in the business support field.

It was incredibly rewarding to see students actively engaging and asking thoughtful questions.

This program is designed to provide students with a real-world understanding of the many opportunities in business support roles and to help them build confidence as they consider further education or their first job.

It’s also an important opportunity to showcase the value of PA and administrative roles - critical positions that support and drive success across every industry.

We’re excited to continue engaging with the next generation of professionals, and we look forward to seeing this initiative grow. Let’s inspire the future workforce, one conversation at a time. 🚀 Stay tuned as we prepare to announce our 2025 events and activities soon!
